I am so honoured and grateful to be in two exhibitions in this year's Florence International Photography Awards. The New Era Museum, organised by the unstoppable force that is Andrea Bigiarini, arranged juried competitions to showcase the amazing art and photography from the field of mobile photography. It seems that I hit the mark twice. Firstly as a 'Most Wanted Visionary' at the Tethys Fine Art Photography Gallery http://neweramuseum.org/words/2015/5/1/the-most-wanted-visionaries-fipa-exhibition-selected-artworks and secondly in the 'FIPA Pro Series' at the Chiostro di Santo Spirito in Florence, Italy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OAz8GyB3HHw&feature=youtu.be Feeling blessed by some universal force :)

Congratulations to the category winners of the 2014 Mobile Photography Awards!
In a year with exceptionally high standards I am chuffed to have bagged two Honourable Mentions. One in the Performing Arts category and one for Street Photography. I am happy to see many of my friends from the mobile photography community have also received Honourable Mentions or have won their categories. Whoop whoop!

Yesterday I was honoured to win the mobile category for the Terry O'Neill Awards 2014. In the afternoon I had my first live TV interview on London Live http://www.londonlive.co.uk/news/2015-01-19/meet-award-winning-photographer-rob-pearson-wright and in the evening, I went to the opening night of the exhibition and announcement of the winners and runners up. It was a fantastic day and it was great meeting the organisers from Iconic Images, Metro Imaging, The Royal Photographic Society, The Guardian, Giorgio Bianchi (Overall Winner) and of course Terry O'Neill himself.
